The last trailers of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" Vol. 2 show us all of the new characters. The original Guardians will be back with additional three members. But some speculation that Adam Warlock and Darkhawk will appear in the film.
According to Movieweb, the rumor started when the Marvel toy figure of Adam Warlock and Darkhawk was launched alongside the "Guardians of the Galaxy" Vol.2 line. Another rumor about Adam Warlock, when his cocoon has been found in the Collectors lair in the "Thor: The Dark World" and the first film of the Guardians. It was confirmed by James Gunn that the cocoon was indeed Adam Warlock.
The rumors have finally been debunked by James Gunn that the two rumored characters will not appear in the upcoming film. The director said that people who believe in rumors should look in the "Guardians of the Galaxy" Vol. 2 packaging cover and that should tell the people to what's in the movie or what's not. According to Comicbook, this was clarified after fans speculation swung too far in the wrong direction.
The main members of the Guardians will be back in the film. According to Dailydot, there will be three new additional members that have already been shown in the trailers of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" Vol. 2 and these are Yondu Udonta, Nebula and Mantis. Another new character in the film would be Ayesha, a high priestess that will seek the help of the Guardians and Ego, the father of Star-Lord.
Now the rumors have been answered, fans will not expect for Adam Warlock and Darkhawk to be seen in the film. Everyone should just wait for the film to be released and be surprised as to what the movie will give us. The "Guardians of the Galaxy" Vol. 2 is scheduled to be released on May 5, 2017.
