"King Arthur: Legend of The Sword" is an upcoming film directed by Guy Ritchie. Charlie Hunnam will play the role of Arthur Pendragon, a legendary British leader who managed to pull the Excalibur from the stone. The said film will be released on May 12, 2017.

Guy Ritchie has chosen Charlie Hunnam to play the lead role of his hyper-masculine spin of classic tales of knighthood and chivalry film, "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword." According to Comicbook, the film will show us traits of brotherhood, living outside the law and anti-heroism like the "Pacific Rim" actor previous television series. The "Sons of Anarchy" actor confirmed similarity from his previous to a new role that it is about loyalty and the character, Arthur, will show the importance of having a family.

The Journey from streets to the throne of the legendary British leader will be shown in "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword." When the father of Arthur Pendragon was killed, his uncle seizes the crown. He has no idea who he truly was, but when he pulled the Excalibur from the stone, his life change and was force to acknowledge his true legacy.

According to DailyMail, Eric Bana is set to play Arthur's Father, King Uther. He will show us his swordsmanship once again like what he did in the film "Troy". In the teaser of the film, it was seen that Eric is clutching his wife and son before telling them to stay away from the castle as it is being attacked.

The loyal right-hand man of Arthur which is Lancelot, will not be in the "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword". According to Collider, Sir Bedivere, played by Djimon Hounsou, would be his right-hand man. He is part of Arthur's Knights of the Round Table that is very loyal to his father, King Uther. After waiting for 25 years for the true heir, the Knight has joined in service to the rightful King after the legendary British pulled the Excalibur from the stone.

"King Arthur: Legend of The Sword" will be played in the film in 3-D and conventional formats. Medieval enthusiasts are surely excited for this film. Let's wait for more update or more trailers for this upcoming film.
