'Maleficent 2' Latest Spoilers News & Updates: Disney Wants Angelina Jolie To Do The Movie Sequel

"Maleficent" is a film directed by Robert Stromberg inspired by the Walt Disney's animated film "Sleeping Beauty", that was released last 2014. "Maleficent" played by Angelina Jolie, is a powerful fairy and the protagonist of the film. "Maleficent 2" is set to be released on 2018 or 2019, as per speculations.

In the original Disney film "Sleeping Beauty," "Maleficent" is the main villain. She is an evil witch who cast a spell to the protagonist Princess Aurora. A curse that will affect the Princess on her 16^th birthday -- she will be prick by spindle of the spinning wheel and die. But, in the film, she started as an evil witch but she has changed and became good witch because of Princess Aurora. She might still retained her good personality in "Maleficent 2."

Disney is making a lot of live action movies and, when they released the first "Maleficent" film, it manage to earn a $748 million worldwide. According to Ace Showbiz, "Maleficent 2" might repeat the success of its predecessor and follow the success of another Disney film big hits such as "Jungle Book 2."  And, if a sequel will be film, then everyone is expecting Angelina Jolie to return.

According to Daily Mail, Disney wants Angelina Jolie to be back as the same character in "Maleficent 2." The "Tomb Raider" actress delivered her roles amazingly and the character was perfect for her.
