Creator Julie Plec has just teased on the possibility that Dobrev will be back as Katherine Pierce. In addition to that, it looks like Klaus Mikaelson could reunite with Caroline Forbes in "I Was Feeling Epic"!

Klaus and Caroline might no longer be together, but fans have continued to beg for Klaroline for a long time. So is it possible that the characters will be reunited in the final season to appease the shippers? Julie Plec recently conducted a Twitter Q&A, answering several questions about "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 finale (via HollywoodLife). One fan wondered if Klaroline will make an appearance in "I Was Feeling Epic". The creator responded, "sort off...???", immediately getting fans excited over Klaus and Caroline's possible reunion. However, this wasn't the only thing Plec teased on. She also confirmed that Katherine Pierce will return in the finale (via Twitter). So does this mean Nina Dobrev is not playing Elena Gilbert at all?

There is a possibility that Nina Dobrev will be playing more than just Elena Gilbert in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 finale. After all, it IS the final season, so it would make sense to offer at least one last glimpse at Katherine Pierce. Some also believe that the return of Klaus could mean that Caroline will crossover to "The Originals" Season 4.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 finale will premiere on March 10. Klaus returns in "The Originals" Season 4, which airs on The CW on March 17.
