"Thor: Ragnarok" is one of the upcoming films based on the comics Thor directed by Taika Waititi. We will see recurring characters like the film protagonist Thor and his adoptive brother Loki played by Tom Hiddleston. Loki is the antagonist of the first Thor and Avenger's film but he allied himself for his adoptive brother in the second Thor film, Thor: The Dark World.
Loki is the son of Laufey, the King of the Frost Giant and he was adopt by Odin. Loki is a tricksters and even after becoming an allied of Thor in the film Thor: The Dark World, he fake his death and even impersonate Thor's father Odin, to trick his adoptive brother. There are no reports yet if Loki will be an ally to Thor or allid himself to "Thor: Ragnarok" antagonist, Hela, Played by Cate Blanchett.
In the end credits scene of Doctor Strange, it is revealed that the sorcerer supreme is aware of Loki and he is unhappy and not thrilled that he landed in New York. Thor and his adoptive brother went to earth to look for their father Odin, and the Asgardian reassured Doctor Strange that they will return to Asgard once they found their father.
