A new clip from the upcoming film "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" has been released. The clip has been released by none other than director Zack Snyder, in his appearance in Conan O'Brien's talk show.
The new teaser for the highly anticipated film lasted for 45 seconds, Telegraph UK reports. It takes viewers back to the previous teasers since it revisits a scene already showed before -- the scene where Superman confronted Batman while standing on the hood of an already crashed Batmobile. Superman then proceeded to rip the windshield from the car.
This time, though, the footage has been extended. Superman warned Batman, ""Next time they shine your light in the sky, don't go to it. The bat is dead. Buried. Consider this mercy." Batman did not show fear, though. "Tell me," answered Batman, "do you bleed? You will."
Apart from the new teaser clip, Snyder speaks of the new Batmobile on the show. "You've seen the Chris Nolan Batman movies, and The Tumbler is a repurposed military vehicle ... [but] the cool thing about our Batmobile is it's purpose-built by Bruce Wayne to be the Batmobile," he said. The director said the new vehicle will be more "bat like" or "battier."
It seems that fans really cannot wait for the movie anymore as there are rumours left and right. For one, there is a rumour that "Batman vs. Superman" may be getting another major super villain. According to Latino Review, apart from Lex Luthor and Doomsday, one possible super villain is Bizarro, who is the failed clone of Superman created by Lex Luthor himself. Latino Review speculated that in the movie, Lex may steal some Superman DNA or have Batman actually steal some from him.
In a related news, Lex Luthor for this movie cannot be farther from the Luthor that people all knew. This is because there will be no bald Luthor in the movie, LA Times reports. Played by Jesse Eisenberg, the millennial Luthor will have hair and wearing regular clothes. According to the actor, this is a pleasing development for the character. "When you're doing a movie like this and playing a character that's already been played, the further away it is from those previous incarnations the better," Eisenberg said. "Because chances are, especially with a guy like Gene Hackman or Kevin Spacey, you're not going to get favorably compared."
