Being a working mom for most can be overwhelming, and it seems Hilary Duff is not excluded from the struggle. She recently shared how she balances singing, acting and mothering her son Luca.
Like all other working mothers, the "Younger" star does wonder if she is doing the juggling of her career and mom duties right and if it is worth doing at all. Because she has been very preoccupied with filming her TV Land show and being a mom, she already worries on whether she can still make another music album. It can be a hard decision to make since she said her music will always be part of her life and that she has many loyal fans.
"I think I just need to wrap my head around the fact that I'm going to make a record and see what sticks...but like going on tour and doing that you know I have a child and I love like doing pick ups and drop offs at school," she explained to E! News. On the other hand, since she "craves normalcy" in her life, she needs to do a lot more pondering.
Apart from worrying about a good mom while acting and singing, she is also struggling with how to choose between acting and singing or whether she can just do both. She added that she is still trying to figure out "how to do both and how to do both really well." She shared that these days, the Entertainment world is much more welcoming of artists who want to do both singing and acting unlike before, when artists who want to engage in both forms of art were not taken seriously.
She recently talked about the 15th Anniversary of "Lizzie McGuire" to Entertainment Weekly. She admitted that it was a great four years of her life, even if she thought she never wanted to hear about the show ever again after filming different types of episodes and having to undergo through different experiences, sometimes really weird. She added now how proud of the show's influence she currently is. She explained that she learned a lot, especially about comedy.
