On Wednesday's results show following the two-day live playoffs, the top twenty remaining artists perform, with two artists from each team advancing based on the viewers' vote, and each coach completing their respective teams with their own choice.
Team Blake was up first, with their non-competition group performance of "I'll Take You There." The viewers voted to save Corey Kent White and Meghan Linsey, while Shelton used his coach save to put Hannah Kirby through. Eliminated were Brooke Adee and Sarah Potenza.
Team Christina was next with their group performance of Madonna's "Like A Prayer." Fans voted to save vocal powerhouses Kimberly Nichole and India Carney, with Aguilera using her coach save on Rob Taylor, in effect eliminating Sonic and Lexi Dávila.
Team Pharrell was up next, with their group performance of "Say Something." The voting public saved Sawyer Fredericks and Mia Z, with Williams choosing Koryn Hawthorne over Caitlin Caporale and Lowell Oakley who thus have to depart the show.
Taking to the stage last, Team Adam did a group performance of Rihanna's "Diamonds." The viewers saved Joshua Davis and Deanna Johnson while Levine went for Brian Johnson over Tonya Boyd-Cannon and Nathan Hermida who were sent home.
Thus, the top 12 The Voice contestants who will be seen performing again on Monday, April 13, 2015, are: Brian Johnson, Corey Kent White, Deanna Johnson, Hannah Kirby, India Carney, Joshua Davis, Kimberly Nichole, Koryn Hawthorne, Meghan Linsey, Mia Z, Rob Taylor, and Sawyer Fredericks. Oklahoma City country music singer-songwriter Reba McEntire is set to work with the top 12 contestants.
According to Headline Planet, Wednesday's The Voice show "drew a 2.2 rating with 9.64 million viewers in its timeslot. Weak by usual The Voice standards, the numbers look spectacular in comparison to the 1.3 rating and ~6.0 million viewership average [American] Idol posted in the competitive 8-9PM hour."
