Rockstar North's Grand Theft Auto V is coming to PC on 14th April and to mark the event, the game publisher, via Eurogamer, has released 15 new screenshots showing how the desktop version looks on a tricked out kit. Digital pre-orders for the game's PC port come with $1.5m in-game currency, with $1m being devoted to GTA Online while the remaining $500K is for the single-player campaign.
The Grand Theft Auto V action-adventure video game was released first on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game consoles in September 2013. Back then, it already became the fastest-selling electronic entertainment release, racking up $1 billion in sales during the first three sales days. It was then re-released in November last year, following which it sold 10 million more copies during the last holidays. Total sales of the game have now exceeded 45 million copies, Take-Two said in a statement. With that, Grand Theft Auto V becomes the best-selling game of all time having surpassed Nintendo's original Super Mario Bros. by 5 million.
According to the game publisher, the upcoming PC version will support 1080p 60fs visusals and up to 4K resolution, as well as triple monitor configurations. It will also include the Rockstar Editor for editing gameplay clips and publishing them to the developer's own Social Club website as well as on YouTube.
