Sony Xperia Z4: New Leak Reveals Dimensions and Other Features

The Sony Xperia Z4 has its specs and dimensions being revealed in bits. The company has revealed little confirmed information about their flagship but a lot has become known through leaks making their way out every now and then.

This time, it's the dimensions that have been exposed. The dimensions seem similar to that of the Xperia Z3 measuring at 146.3 x 71.9 x 7.2mm. That shows only about a point difference between the two devices.

Nothing new was revealed through the leak as we already know the device will have 5.2 inches display. So naturally the body wouldn't be any different. Xperia Z4 is rumored to come with Snapdragon 810 chipset featuring four Cortex-A57 cores and four Cortex-A53 as well as Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. It would boast a 3GB Ram and an Adreno 430 GPU. The new GPU would offer about 30% better performance than its predecessor.  It seems that Sony will release their Xperia in two display versions of 1080p and QHD.

The water resistance of the device will be much advanced too. It would no longer have a flap covering over the USB port to protect the interior. It would also have an improved front camera. The leaked photo of Xperia Z4 shows a camera shutter button on the right of the device.

Rumors also have it, that the handset is almost complete and it was hoped that the device would be revealed early this year. However, Sony has made no official confirmations over any of the rumors. There has been no reveals at the MWC either, so it seems that Sony would hold its own event to introduce the awaited Xperia Z4.
