Samsung Galaxy S6 vs HTC One M9 Revealed Specs, Features and Latest News: How Does Each Outdo the Other

Many smart phone companies present during the 2015 version of Mobile World Congress have shown the public what they have done with their major products.  Top contenders were Samsung Galaxy S6 and the HTC One M9, which are vying for the title of the best smart phone for 2014.

To know more about the updates the two companies have done to their flagship phones, here are comparison of their features and specifications.

On the design, Galaxy S6 wins over the One M9 in thickness, or rather in thinness and the latter is also heavier which makes Samsung's newest product easy on the user's hands.  Plus Galaxy S6 has a larger screen by 4 percent beating One M9 on that feature.  Although both phones look very classy in its metallic look, but Samsung still wins as its metal sides with its glass back fit is way much better than the HTC.

The display of One M9 has a full HD and an LCD of 5 inches versus Samsung's 5.1 inch Quad HD with the much-liked Amoled glass display of the Galaxy S6.  Again, it is beating HTC's accuracy in the accuracy and vividness of its colors.

Going to the operating system, the One M9 chose the Android 5.0 Lollilop coupled with Sense 7.0 UI which has a widget that keeps the apps arranged depending on the user's profile.  On the other hand, Samsung has selected TouchWiz Android which puts the lesser apps in a cleaner interface.

Camera-wise, HTC beats Samsung with the One M9's 20 megapixel camera with two LED flash while Samsung's Galaxy S6 has only 16 megapixels.

On the battery side, HTC beats Samsung in its battery size, 2840mAh versus 2550mAh.  Processor for the former uses Snapdragon 810 while the latter uses the Exynos 7420.
