March 9: Apple's 'Spring Forward' Speculations; What Has Apple Planned For This Date?

There is a great mystery around the 'Spring Forward' event of Apple, scheduled on March 9. Lots of speculations have come through as to what is likely to be seen at this event. Some of these speculations gives us an idea about what to expect at this event

Smartwatch

The tagline itself points to the fact that Apple is set to reveal the long waited smartwatch. Many of the smartwatch features have already been introduced in an iPhone event earlier. But we are yet to find the prices and market release dates of the device. It is possible that Apple has something bigger to boast about in the smartwatches than revealed earlier.

MacBook

There are rumors about the introduction of a new MacBook Air, featuring a Retina display. It would also have a Touch ID in its trackpad. As the scheduled release was early 2015, it could be revealed in the March 9 event. Apple could also reveal enhancements on Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad.

iPad Pro

iPad Pro might also be on the list. As an entire event could not be scheduled for just smart watches, it is expected that Apple might want to reveal their much anticipated iPad Pro too. Some speculations suggest that it will be released later this year, so we cant be certain. But there will definitely be a lot of talk about its features and specs.

There are other highly unlikely rumors about the release or introduction of several other devices like Apple TV, the next iPhone and the like, but it seems the major focus of the event would be Apple's smart watches as the title suggests.
