The unique Force Touch feature that was to be revealed in the Apple Watch will now be available on Apple iPhone 6S that is scheduled to be released later this year.
The Force Touch technology uses tiny electrodes around a flexible Retina display to distinguish between a tab and a press. A press would direct the user to several contextually specific controls. This new technology seems to be a break through after the Multi-Touch capability previously developed by Apple.
The Force Touch seemed to be experimented on iPhone 6 earlier too but certain issues led them to withdraw the feature. However, it seems the iPhone is now ready to have this feature. The iPhone might also have several other features of Apple Watch like control over the motor's amplitude. Most of the changes are expected to be in the form of internal upgrades as Apple seems to be avoiding a reconstruction of its already packed iPhone chassis.
News also circulated about the iPhone housing an extra camera. But sources differ in this as it seems including a camera would require the modification of the entire housing on the iPhone. So the iPhone will not include the anticipated camera, at least this year. Apple would definitely avoid the controversy that had erupted due to the camera 'bump' it had unveiled earlier and was largely criticized for.
It seems that Force Touch and haptic feedback would come out incorporated in both the new 4.7 inch model, the N71 and the 5.5 inch model, iPhone 6 Plus. There is no news of the entry of another smaller iPhone of the 4-inch range that was being called for.
