Sam Huntington, 32, best known for his TV role as the werewolf Josh Levison in Syfy's Almost by Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley and directed by Gail Mancuso. Huntington also appeared as guest in such TV series as Veronica Mars, Warehouse 13, Cavemen, among others, and co-starred in such films as Fanboys and Dylan Dog: Dead of Night. He portrayed Jimmy Olsen in the 2006 Superman Returns movie.
How to Live, executive produced by David Janollari, centers on a blogger named Russel (Huntington) and his wife who move to the suburbs where he begins writing about marriage and the family lives of his suburban friends and neighbors, in the style of an anthropologist who's stumbled Human, is set to star as the male lead in NBC's single-camera comedy pilot How We Live, written on an undiscovered tribe. It is one of three single-camera half-hour comedy pilot series ordered for this season by NBC from sister studio Universal TV, the other two being Superstore and a still untitled show from comedy veteran Suzanne Martin.
Announced to play the part of Russel's wife Holly is Briga Heelan, 27, who is best for her role as Jenny Miller in TBS' just recently canceled sitcom Ground Floor where she garnered praises from the critics. Robert Lloyd of Los Angeles Times for instance wrote: "Heelan (who played the airheaded yet not insubstantial Holly on "Cougar Town") is remarkably alive and in the moment; she makes real all that she touches. I could easily recommend tuning in just to watch her work - and hereby do." She also has a recurring role as Nicki in the renewed NBC series Undateable which will resume airing on March 17. In the upcoming How We Live pilot, Heelan's Holly, as described by the network, will be seen pouring her energy into everything in her life, "most recently trying to get pregnant, a challenge that is pushing her endless optimism to its limits."
Also confirmed to be in the cast of How We Live are Andrea Anders as Holly's best friend Natalie and Chris Klein as Russel's best friend Matt.
