Seems like the wait for the Hannibal fans to get to see the psychological drama is not yet over. After the release date for the show was pushed to summer this year, no official announcement has yet been made so far confirming the release date.
Offering a wave of respite for the eager fans, the production company of the series, Dino de Laurentiis, recently tweeted that the show would return "soon."
"We dreamed all night long about the @NBCHannibal S3 premiere date," the tweet read. "#Hannibal #WeAreReady," updated Delaurentiis.
According to the sources, the production company would like the show to be premiered on a tuesday, however, the broadcast channel, NBC, has not yet finalized the release day.
Season 3 plot of the crime and psychological thriller will be primarily based on the novels Hannibal and Hannibal Rising by Thomas Harris. Reportedly, a series of events from both the stories will be mixed up into a single plot for the third series of the poupular TV series. The developer of the series, Bryan Fuller allegedly claimed that the Hannibal origin story will be significantly changed from the Hannibal Rising in the upcoming show.
Reportedly, the Season 3 series will cast Rutina Wesley as the Red Dragon Reba McClane, Hugh Dancy as Will Graham, Nina Arianda as Garaham's wife, Molly, and Joe Anderson as Mason Verger. While the lead role of the Dr. Hannibal Lector will be played by Mads Mikkelsen. Raul Esparza will feature as Dr. Frederick Chilton, Gillian Anderson as Bedelia, and Richard Armitage as Francis Dolarhyde. Tao Okamoto will be seen playing the role of Hannibal's aunt, Lady Murasaki. Okamoto is well known for his role in the Batman vs. Superman movie.
