‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Star Dakota Johnson Splits From Boyfriend Matthew Hitt

Dakota Johnson's real life personal relationship is not as juicy as Anastasia Steele's.

The actress and her musician boyfriend, Matthew Hitt, had broken up.

According to a report by Mirror.co.uk, the 25-year-old and her hunky model and rocker beau Matthew started dating last summer.

An insider told Us Magazine that they parted ways sometime over the holidays. The insider also added that her life was getting too crazy and it wasn't something that he wanted to be a part of.

The duo were spotted leaving a hotel in New York City within minutes of each other earlier this month, but Dakota, who is the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, recently hinted she was single again.

When asked if her boyfriend was a fan of the film, she said: "My hypothetical beloved thinks it's great. He's really supportive. I don't have a lot of time for a relationship. I'm too bustling sanctimonious and afterwards we go home and there's no one." The brunette beauty also recently admitted she has a lot of turn-offs when it comes to men.

She said: "I think it's unsexy when a man chews with his mouth open or when a man is rude or wears fedoras. I hate fedoras. Oh God, I can find more things I hate about men than I like. I think it's just a phase!"

The split comes just a week after Fifty Shades of Grey had its premiere in Berlin.

Dakota and co-star Jamie Dornan dazzled on the red carpet, but while Jamie was joined by his wife, sadly Dakota wasn't joined by Matthew.
