For quite a long time, the show's makers were okay to let the lead character of Pawnee cover up in the shadows, never to be seen, as a parade of incredible city administrators, town councilmen and officials went back and forth before the cam. On the other hand, with the show edging towards its end, the cast and team turned in to a star force to breathe a new life in to the character.
In the Season 7 episode Two Funerals, it was uncovered that Mayor Walter Gunderson had passed on; Bill Murray ventures into playing the character. Believe it or not, Bill Murray was more than happy to do a cameo in the current episode of the show.
The ingenuity of the entire cast got the 64 year old comic to watch the show and consent to a cameo on the last season.
Despite the fact that it was humorous to see Murray simply play a carcass; the show didn't leave any chance to have the famous funnyman on the show "alive" too.
As per Schur, Murray stayed nearby the set for three hours in the wake of completing his work. It happens that Murray is a bit of a fan of the hit dramedy Parks and Recreation and he was happy to help.
Fans are already saddened by the show's brink towards its end, but they can now have a reason to cheer up and watch this hilarious episode with the legendary Bill Murray in it. The audience is going to absolutely love it!
Tune in to the latest episode of Parks and Recreation this week.
