There was a vigil held for Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina at the The City of Riverdale Office of Cultural Affairs named a "Shining A Light For Healing For Bobbi Kristina Brown" on Monday night (Feb 9). You can watch the service in full above.
"I know she thanks all of y'all. Continue to pray for us. Remember when you wake up we should all pray for each other," Bobbi Kristina's uncle Tommy Brown told the crowd at the vigil (via People).
Bobbi Kristina Brown's family has also released a new statement to clarify many conflicting reports that are on the internet. The statement reads:
"We support the candlelight vigil for Bobbi Kristina. The Brown family is amazed by the love and support from all that attended." Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, legal counsel for Bobby Brown, said in a statement (via Billboard).
"However the false reports that continue to appear in print and on the internet are egregious, false and will be dealt with at an appropriate time. In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Daily Mail (UK) citing, police sources, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention. The desire to be "first" has clouded the judgment of many reporters as they forgo accuracy. This is a criminal investigation and the integrity of that process requires silence. We continue to request privacy in this matter. We thank everyone that supported the vigil for Bobbi Kristina. God is hearing our prayers," shared Bobby Brown.
The 21-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown is currently in a medically induced coma after being found unresponsive in a bathtub.
"There has been no change," a Brown family member shared on Bobbi's current health status. "We are hoping that God will see fit to perform a miracle in her, so that he will get the glory."
