The wait is almost over for Monster Hunter fans as Monster Hunter 4's release is just around the corner which is on February 13. What's interesting is that it will be released together with the new addition in the Nintendo family, the Nintendo 3DS XL.
It is to be noted that the previous installment received rave reviews and many have high expectations in regards to the upcoming game. Also, the game will be one of the first titles to be released together with the new Nintendo console and will be making use of the console's C-stick and improved processor. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will also feature three different quest for each player wherein the levels have been separated from Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. However, these have to be played in order before one could progress to the next level.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will also feature 14 new weapons such as the sword and the shield, a gunlance, bow and hammer. In terms of gameplay, there were also changes wherein the gameplay has verticality where the characters can climb walls and dash jump on them too however this is not recommended when you are up close and with a monster or if you are on a rocky terrain.
It was also reported by iDigital Times that those who had preordered their consoles will have a copy of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate as part of the bundle and can be acquired either through direct download or be bought. However, gamers should be forewarned as the game is extremely heavy and will occupy at least 4GB of storage.
Currently, the demo for the game was released and is still ongoing.
