The wait is finally over!
Final Fantasy fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief as their favorite franchise is finally moving on with Final Fantasy XV after a decade's wait. Though it is common knowledge that it takes long to develop a game, it is highly unusual to wait for such a long time and we could say that the upcoming game is certainly worth the wait. There have been teasers and screenshots released over the past months regarding the game's development and it is a huge relief to hear that fans of the Final Fantasy franchise will be getting the latest installment of the series even if it is just a demo.
According to the company Square Enix, players will be able to play the demo of Final Fantasy XV entitled Episode Duscae where it will be immediately available for download on its launch. What's more is that it will be bundled with the highly demanded, once Japan-only game, Final Fantasy Type-0. To add to the hype, Square Enix recently released a teaser trailer alongside Type-o HD's trailer. The game will be playable with the PS4 and Xbox One platforms and will allow players around two hours worth of gameplay within the Duscae region.
On the trailer, fans could see what they have been waiting for all these years as the game will feature stealth mechanics and an appearance of a popular recurring character, Cid. Players also gets a glimpse much of the game's world such as caves, ruins, open fields and a small roadside pit shop. The game will also have a car customization feature. According to Hajima Tabata's interview, KPopStarz quotes the following, "We're planning to make the car customizable. About if the car is important is the story, the car is not such a major element of the story in that way. The way we see the car, it is like the fifth character, the fifth companion. He's gonna be through all through the game right to the end as a character but probably not a massive element as the story no. About the airship, they are quite related to the opposing faction in the game and the story so I don't think I should probably be answering that at this time but they will be revealed later." Players will also be delighted to know that the franchise's long-time composer, Nobuo Uematsu composed the score for the game.
