One Plus Two has been confirmed to be released by June 2015.
Carl Pei, the 25-year-old co-founder of One Plus told PC World that the smartphone's expected release is sometime mid-2015.
However, as with the case of One Plus One, there might be an issue of supply and demand. According to PC Advisor, it is not possible to go to their website and purchase the phone and will require an invitation only purchase. Even if the company is much larger now compared when they first launched One Plus One, Pei said they wanted to be cautious not to overproduce.
Regardless of whether the company can stick to its own deadline, Forbes suggests that delays on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor selected for the One Plus Two by OnePlus will push its launch back to the third quarter of 2015.
Also, it is speculated that One Plus Two will be marketed as One Plus One 2.
Pei also confirmed that there would not be a One Plus One tablet, but the company is working on a second model - and it might be a One Plus Mini.
Although nothing has yet been officially confirmed about the OnePlus Two's spec, Pei said users will be surprised because, rather than taking on 2015 flagship's in terms of specifications, it will do so in design.
The specs might not be as powerful as the Samsung Galaxy S6, HTC One M9 and Sony Xperia Z4, but users might be looking at something a little less powerful but just as pretty.
Now we are able to give some idea as to the specs of the One Plus Two thanks to GizChina which states the second generation will retain the screen size of 5.5in. However, a second device could be offered with a smaller display which is similar to other smartphone makers' strategy including Apple and Sony.
Although the main model looks set to stay at 5.5in, the resolution could be bumped to 2K and the overall size of the handset should be smaller anyway. Other rumored specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor matching the LG G Flex 2, a whopping 4GB of RAM and a large 3300mAh battery.
