Everyone's favorite life simulation game is back and better than ever! And like every other game, EA delivers the standards it has set since the last release of The Sims game. For The Sims 4, it would seem that they have given more control on their players making the gaming experience player-centric in its latest expansion, The Sims 4: Get to Work.
Those who have played the game for a while now, they would know that whenever their Sim would head out to work, it will just disappear and then come back home after the day's work. However, the latest expansion lets the player take an active role on four job types: emergency room doctor, police detective, scientist and entrepreneur.
Aside from that, EA also included in the expansion photography and baking skills for your Sims to learn and aliens, who look like regular Sims, which could invade at any time.
The Sims 4 expansion is set for release this April where it will be commemorating the 15th anniversary of the game franchise. Aside from that, one of the bonus features will include rare pieces of the game's Build Mode.
Speaking of Build Mode, the designer, Aaron Houts, shared in an interview that there was one aspect of the Build Mode that was not released and that was the automatic door feature. Originally, the feature involves a door automatically appearing when a player sets rooms side by side however they found it a hassle as players will find themselves with too many doors. "That was the whole point of what we wanted to accomplish with 'The Sims 4' Build Mode: create a system which empowers players to be as creative as possible" International Business Times quotes Houts.
The game will also be available for the PC and Mac.
