Fans are waiting with anxious breath to see Gareth Edwards direct a continuation of the hit movie Godzilla, though the movie still needs to finalize its casting and schedule. When it's all said and done, Edwards' quick consideration is on a film inspired by Star Wars that he is going to make next, which will be releasing somewhere in the year 2016.
On the other hand, once he is finished with directing the movie Star Wars, it is likely that he will be jumping straight back on to Godzilla, because the producers - Legendary and Warner Bros have already proclaimed the film's release date - June 8, 2018. It is still a long way off and more details about the cast, plot and story line are awaited. The Godzilla director, whose reboot of the excellent beast story scored high at the box office with gross earnings of $216 million around the world, has been decided to steer the next Star Wars movie and that is surely is a big burden on his shoulders.
Directing something that is already a legend is kind of difficult, and more so when you have a reputation of doing some excellent work that is creative and also extraordinary.
There has been no official communication or announcement about the movie's cast or story or even its release date. The tentative release date of the movie should be expected around Dec 16, 2016.
So fans are all geared up to witness another epic Godzilla movie, and you know what would be really great? If the movie would come out in 3 D. It will really take the whole experience to another level.
