Disney releases an all-new Cinderella movie trailer to celebrate the New Year while the world counts down for 2015 to come.
It is the third live-action movie adaptation of the classic fairy tale wherein Ella battles her way back home from the ball as her fairy godmother's magic comes to end when the clock struck 12. The role of the fairy godmother will be played by Helena Bonham Carter.
Lily James-the Downton Abbey star -who will play the titular role in the movie also expressed her excitement as she took the role of the orphan princess.
"Every girl wants to be a princess but the reality of playing a Disney one is, 'OH MY GOD!' I'm having so many dream-come-true moments I can't even count them. Getting Downton was one of them. I'd watched the show from the start and loved it so I couldn't believe it when I got the job. Now to play a Disney princess is just silly really. It's hard to comprehend. I don't want to be one of those actors who can't admit it's exciting," she told MailOnline excitedly.
On the other hand, the Game of Thrones star Richard Madden-also known as Robb Stark-will be the one to play the role of the Prince Charming.
He said that it is quite bizarre when the publication asked him about how he felt in playing the young prince. "I'm like, 'Surely, not me. Surely, I'm too old. I can't be!' Oh, actually, all right. I'm doing it!" he mentioned.
Madden also shared some details of the film despite its popularity. He mentioned that it is very true to the tale of the story and that there were only little tweaks made in the film.
Cinderella is expected to be a blast in theaters given its all-star cast and a full-blown movie production. It will be released on March 13, 2015.
