The team of Glee is making sure that they make a lasting impression on their audience before bowing out. The current Season 6 is their final season, and the series will not go off the air before making a big statement. Some of the final season episodes will deal with different social issues.
When Brittany and Santana got engaged in the last episode, most of their friends were supportive, but there were exceptions as well. Their families did not agree to the marriage and on Feb. 6, in the episode "What the World Needs Now," Britanny and Santana will be seen handling the issues with their families. The official synopsis of the episode talks about some family convincing by the two. Mercedes too has some convincing to do as she persuades Rachel to let her fulfill her Broadway dreams.
It seems that most of the problem is coming from Britanny's side, especially her grandmother. Her mom has already agreed to the relationship. Meanwhile, Beiste, played by Dot Marie Jones, has a huge role and responsibility as they deal with the issue of pre-operative transsexuals and how to include it in the storyline. Jones was actually surprised when Ryan Murphy, the show creator came up with the idea. According to her, this is just a way to reach a certain group of people. In addition, as the topic can attract plenty of controversies, this is the right time to tackle with the issue.
Lea Michele, the Glee superstar, has gossip columns talking about her long locks that seem to look shorter and the fans will see a new shoulder length. Michele's hair is certainly looking shorter in the shot of her that she posted at Instagram. However, the director of Glee cleared the confusion by tweeting out that the singer did not actually get a little scissor happy, and her precious locks are safe. Perhaps it was the way she had pinned her hair or the angle of the shot that made them shorter.
