'Hyrule Warriors' Majora's Mask Pack Release Date Feb 2015 and Other Game Updates from Zelda

Hyrule Warriors Majora's Mask Pack release date is February 5, 2015. Available for purchase at $7.99 at the official Hyrule Warriors site, this downloadable content (DLC) will add Tingle and Young Link as playable characters, a Skull Kid costume for Lana, Ocarina of Time costumes for Sheik and Impa, and an additional Adventure map. The two new characters have some unique abilities. Tingle will attack enemies with balloons and a sack of rupees while Young Link will wield the Kokiri sword on the battlefield and can also use the Fierce Diety Mask which allows him to unleash powerful special attacks on his enemies.

Hyrule Warriors is a Legend of Zelda spin-off game for the Nintendo Wii U video game console which combines the world of The Legend of Zelda with the action of Koei Tecmo's Dynasty Warriors series was developed by Team Ninja and Omega Force. It is the most combat-intensive Zelda game with hordes of enemies on the screen at once. Warriors can collect Rupees and materials to upgrade weapons and craft badges which can then be used to upgrade each character's abilities. There are multiple weapon types, with each type having its own move set. Also, individual weapons have their own stats and skills which can be transferred onto another weapon of the same type for a certain Rupee cost provided the recipient weapon has empty skill slots and the player is willing to sacrifice the source weapon. Legend Mode is the game's main story mode and is divided into seven chapters that will take players to original stages and also stages from Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword. Free Mode allows to replay any mission with any unlocked character. Adventure Mode is an alternative gameplay mode which takes the form of a grid in the shape of the overworld from the original The Legend of Zelda.

Hyrule Warriors is the first Zelda game to incorporate downloadable content. Three DLC costume packs are available for those who pre-ordered the game at specific retailers. In addition, four DLC have been scheduled for release in the months following the game's launch. The first DLC bundle, the 'Master Quest Pack' was released in October 2014 and this bundle includes a new Cia's Tale story campaign, alternate Guardian of Time costumes for Lana and Cia, Epona as a weapon for Link, 16 additional character re-color costumes, and a new Master Quest map, similar to the Adventure Mode's map. The second bundle, the 'Twilight Princess Pack,' was released on November 27, 2014, and adds Twili Midna as a playable character, the Dominion Rod weapon for Zelda, Ilia and Postman costumes for Zelda and Link respectively, 16 additional character re-color costumes, and a third Adventure Map. The third bundle, the 'Majora's Mask Pack,' is scheduled for release on February 5, 2015. The final bundle, the 'Boss Pack,' which contains two additional game modes, will be released the following March. Players who purchase all four packs receive an exclusive Dark Link costume.
