With only 13 episodes left in the series, the popular FX show "Justified" will be coming to an end. The show has been shown the red flag by the producers but will get a sixth and final season which will be premiering on Jan 20th.
The final season of the show will revolve around the character of Raylan which is played by Timothy Olyphant and his efforts to push Boyd, which is played by Walton Goggins, to go back to jail. He will be seeking Ava's help, which is played by Joelle Carter.
The producers of the show say that they have decided to end the show at this time because they feel that its right to end it at this point and also, they simply do not want to overstay their welcome.
Since the day it has started, "Justified" has always been a character driven show and its uniqueness reflected in its concept of showing the bad guy of the week each week. The only thing missing in the show was that it never gave a chance to any of its secondary characters like Tim Gutterson.
The show's directors refuse to comment on how the show will end and have said that they are still working on the end part of it. They also joked that they do not know yet as to who will live and who will die.
The executive producer of the show, Graham Yost, has said that every one, including the cast of the show, is happy that they have decided to end the show's run and that it was a unanimous decision and was not forced. He jokingly admitted that all he is worried for now is his unemployment following the end of the show, after working with it for five long years.
