Kate Gosselin Says She Doesn’t Have a Relationship With Jon Gosselin Anymore; She is Focused on Her Children This Time

Kate Gosselin is all solo right now and is not yet ready to go on a date. The reality star also mentioned she doesn't have a relationship with ex-husband Jon Gosselin anymore.

Kate is now focused on raising up her children - all eight of them. She dishes on her personal life in an interview while promoting The Celebrity Apprentice 7 at the Television Critics Associate panel on Jan 16.

"I don't have [a relationship with Jon anymore]," she admitted of her ex-husband. "I give the kids... some of the kids visit and some don't and I keep the peace. That's what I've always done. It's best for the kids," according to US weekly.

"I wish that things were better for the kids," she added of her dynamic with Jon. "It's very clear by now that I'm just trying to preserve what relationship he has with them. I do think it's best for them, but, you know, divorce is hard, period. But it's really difficult when one parent is in the sabotaging mode. That's been difficult."

The couple split up in 2009 and the divorce that followed was very messy but was finalized in December of 2009. Kate was given custody to Cara, Madelyn, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel.

The 39-year-old reality star also said she isn't active in looking for a partner. She shares that she ould love to date but does not have the time currently.

Kate may not have her love life as a priority, but she said that her children, who still see and speak to their dad from time to time, are starting to ask questions. She said that her children are asking on the why is there no presence of a man this many years, but is not going to make the mistake of bringing anybody home.
