Josh Murray splits with Bachelorette Andi Dorfman!

Shocking news for you Murray and Dorfman fans. The couple called it quits just months after getting engaged.

The news came to a surprise to many as they were last seen to be extremely happy during the Bachelor premiere a few days before the news. Now several have been asking on why the couple had split.

Though initial rumors are saying that the cause of the split was due to one of them cheating, a source tells People that it is not infidelity. "There was no cheating, no event or incident that led to the breakup. Andi and Josh spent their engagement working on their relationship and it just didn't work out. They figured out that they're not supposed to be together," WetPaint quotes.

Josh Murray's mother, Lauren, posted on her Facebook confirming the split. "Yes it's true, Andi & Josh have chosen to break off their engagement. Although there was no one thing that precipitated their decision, they were thoughtful & wise in their decision and I'm happy they figured this out before getting married & having kids," People quotes. She further added, "The engagement time did its job in helping them determine what's best for them. I know we all wanted the storybook ending but I trust The Lord has an even better journey for each of them and that makes my heart happy. Thank you for your love and messages. I'm overwhelmed & humbled by your words. XO" 

This is not strange as the couple had only gotten to know each other under the scrutiny of The Bachelorette's cameras and even had cameras following them during their 'dates'. Though the two have been engaged, they have gotten to know more of each other outside the show for less than a year so it is not much of a surprise to know that they find themselves incompatible with each other in that time span.

But the source does have one thing that can help reassure the couple's fans, the two have remained good friends.
