Scorpion Season 1 resumes airing with Kill Screen

Scorpion Season 1 returns Monday, January 5, at 9:00 p.m. on CBS with its 13th episode entitled "Kill Screen." According to the network's official synopsis, Team Scorpion helps Ralph [Riley B. Smith] when he is questioned by the FBI, after his dark web game play inadvertently reveals the location of a CIA safe house and results in the murder of some CIA operatives.

Directed by Jace Alexander from a script written by Nicholas Wootton and Paul Grellong, the upcoming episode will have cast regulars Elyes Gabel, Robert Patrick, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jadyn Wong and Ari Stidham back to reprise their roles as Walter O'Brien, Agent Cabe Gallo, Paige Dineen, Dr. Toby Curtis, Happy Quinn, and Sylvester Dodd, respectively.

As it turns out, nine-year-old Ralph did something he shouldn't have. He went on the computer without his mother's permission and he started playing around with what he thought was just a game. Unfortunately, the game he played apparently ended up getting two CIA operatives killed. As the story went, someone got his hands on the whereabouts of the CIA's hideouts all over the world. He used that information as a prize to anyone who can complete a difficult video game he designed. Ralph and the drug cartel that attacked one of the hideouts are the only two people that ever made it to level ten. So now the CIA wants to know how Ralph was able to get his hands on the game in the first place. Apparently, they thought that Ralph may have been the game designer, or at least knew who the designer was. The game designer turns up to be just as clueless as Ralph. He's just a teenager named Nate who just wanted to create a really great game. However, his partner Donald used him for his own sinister scheme.
