Taylor Swift has always been known for being great to her fans and the latest video she posted keeps reinforcing that. She surprised many of her biggest fans with personal gifts for the holiday and she took video footage of the whole thing. Check out the sweet video above.
"Shortly after the massively success release of 1989, fans on social media began to experience another phenomenon. After something that became known as #TayLurking, whereupon every detail of a fan's likes, job, whereabouts was studied intently... A single Santa emoji would appear on their socials. From one Taylor Swift.....these are their stories," the 25-year-old entertainer captioned the video.
One lucky fan even got to open her presents with Taylor there. Even her cats Meredith and Olivia make appearances.
Taylor Swift ends 2014 on a high note remaining No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the sixth straight week with "Blank Space." This becomes her longest streak at No. 1 with "Shake It Off" being No. 1 for four weeks and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" spending three weeks at the top back in 2012.
Swift keeps breaking new ground with her new album 1989. She has become the first female artist in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart to replace herself at the No. 1 spot.
With "Shake It Off" and "Black Space," Swift is the only artist with two Hot 100 No. 1s this year. It is also a rare honor for the first two singles of an album to top the Hot 100.
Taylor Swift's 1989 album was No. 1 for a third straight week on the Billboard 200 chart. This is only the second album to spend three weeks on top of the list, the other being the Frozen soundtrack, which was on top for 13 nonconsecutive weeks.
Amazingly, with all of her success, "Black Space" only gives her three No. 1 songs with "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" off of her previous RED album being her first. Most would have assumed that she had a No. 1 song before her RED album.
