Kim Kardashian, her husband Kanye West and their one-year-old baby daughter North will be moving out of her mother Kris Jenner's house by late January according to theDaily Mail. But they will be transferring just across the street. The couple's new $20m home is located within the same Hidden Hills gated neighborhood as the Jenner mansion.
Kim was persuaded by her mother to live with her shortly before giving birth to North in June of last year. They've stayed with her since then. Kim and Kanye have been confined to a one bedroom space where they share a single closet. In a previous interview, Kim was quoted by the Daily Mirror as saying: "I don't know how we've lived there for this long. It's just a big accident. I love it but it's gone on way too long. It was only supposed to be for three months and it's been a year and a half. Yes we are moving out of mom's house ASAP."
However, instead of going to the $11 million house which they bought in Bel-Air in January last year, which they been renovating to make it the family's home, they will instead be moving to the sprawling $20 million eight-bedroom 15,667 square-foot mansion just across the street in Kris Jenner's Hidden Hills neighborhood. Their new estate sits on 3.5 acres of land and comes with two swimming pools, two spas, two barbecue centers and its very own vineyard. For added privacy, the couple also bought the adjoining 2,842 square-foot 'teardown' wood and brick ranch-style house on 149 acres of land for $2.9 million to attach to their sprawling property.
Regarding their $11 million 9,000 square-foot Bel-Air house, Kim and Kanye reportedly plan to sell it before they move to their new home. According to sources not named byE!News, "They are such perfectionists that staying up-to-date with the latest appliances and home systems, etc., has been exhausting for them. They want to sell very soon, but they might just finish the house enough to get it on the market without trying to make it their perfect home. They have no interest in becoming professional 'flippers' but rather have found the entire process exhausting."
