Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo were said to have cried after the last wrestling scene was filmed in the critically- acclaimed movie, Foxcatcher.

Why? Because the worst was over and it had hurt a lot.

According to director Bennet Miller at the AFI Silver Theatre after a screening of the film, "Wrestling is extremely hard. It's the hardest sport.

"Both of the guys cried when we wrapped the last wrestling scene, and they knew they weren't going to have to do it anymore," Miller said. "They literally held each other and cried." He chuckled and added, "And that's really not a wrestling thing to do. There are no tears in wrestling," according to The Washington Post.

Foxcatcher is the story of Olympic Wrestling champion Mark Schultz (Channing Tatum) and paranoid-schizophrenic millionaire John du Pont (Steve Carrell), who murdered Schultz's brother, Olympic champion Dave Schultz (Mark Ruffalo) in 1996.

Tatum has been getting a lot of accolades for his portrayal as Mark Schultz. He and the cast won several awards including the Hollywood Film Awards and the Gotham Jury Award for the Best Ensemble category. Miller won the Best Director Award in the Palme d'Or main competition section in the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. Tatum also won the Best Actor Award in the International Cinephile Society Awards.

The film, on the other hand, was nominated at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Golden Globe Awards.

Jenna Dewan's husband will be seen next in the upcoming space opera film, Jupiter Ascending, with Mila Kunis. The actor will reprise his role in the Magic Mike sequel which is titled as Magic Mike XXL, alongside Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello.

That doesn't stop there, the 34-year-old actor has started filming The Hateful Eight, Hail Ceasar! and X-Men Apocalypse where Tatum plays the character of Remy LeBeau or simply known as the Gambit.
