Earlier this week, Brian Austin Green and wife Megan Fox had a near brush with death, as they were swiped by a drunk driver crossing lanes with their Range Rover. It is good to know though that the couple were unharmed as confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department.
The Beverly Hills 90210 alum had opened up about the incident with US weekly. "It could have ended horribly. We were talking about it today, on the way to run errands. I was saying, 'We're really lucky," Green, 41, told Us Weekly at the 6th Annual Night of Generosity Gala in Beverly Hills on Friday, Dec. 5. "He was going 50 miles an hour, and we were going 25 down the street, and we hit head-on. The inertia of that is life changing. That's life changing for us."
Luckily, the couple's two sons, Noah and Bodhi were not with them. The couple were still shaken up by the incident. "[The driver] hit the air bag. I got out of the car. I shook hands with the man," Green explained. "The cars did their jobs."
The drunk driver was then taken into custody after Green called up the cops.
Green, currently plays Sean Healy in the sitcom Anger Management, and stars Charlie Sheen. Apparently, FX had announced the cancellation of the sitcom after its 100th episode. The sitcom currently is on its 94th episode.
Fox, on the other hand, is set to reprise her role as April O'Neil in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel set to premiere on 2016. The movie marks her reconciliation with director Michael Bay, although Bay was only the producer in this film. Bay and Fox exchanged heated arguments prior to Transformers 3 which resulted to Fox not being included in the 3rd sequel.
