Jionni LaValle, hubby of former Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, wasted honeymoon time and was in a New Jersey court on December 1 after pleading guilty to DUI charges. 

This happened only two days after getting hitched, according to Us Weekly.

Records show that LaValle was initially arrested back on August 7, 2014 along Interstate 80 in Totowa, New Jersey, at 3:30 AM. He was charged for driving under the influence, unsafe lane changes, and reckless driving.

LaValle then pleaded to only DUI; the two other charges were dismissed. LaValle's driving license has been revoked for three months.  Also, he has to complete 12 hours of drug and alcohol education classes and pay the $614 fine.

Snooki, understandably, took her long-time boyfriend's run-in with the law in stride.

She tweeted about being "Hungover with my husband" the day after their wedding. She added that they were curing their hangover by "Getting McDonalds and being slobs together."

The couple has two children: 2-year-old son Lorenzo and 2-month-old daughter Giovanna, who were there to witness the big day.
