It's not only the flock of Middle Earth dressed fans that turned heads in The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies London premier last December 1 but Evangeline Lilly stunned the crowd and her critics with her most fashionable ensemble in a long while according to a report by US Weekly.
Though the 35-year old Canadian actress who plays the flawless female elf, Tauriel, in the movie had a few interesting but no so red carpet-worthy outfits in previous events, Lilly certainly went back to the old fashion drawing board and wowed the fans and critics with her Reem Acra's Resort 2015 strapless, floor-length ball gown with a turquoise stone embellished bodice. Completing the look was a black Edie Parker clutch, diamond earrings with matching hair and soft smoky eyes complimenting her natural makeup and those dazzling green eyes.
Recently, the former Lost cast member was the cover star for the Winter 2015 issue of Fashion magazine where she shared that she had just released her new children's book entitled The Squickerwonkers.
She also added to Fashion magazine her own personal views in fashion where "If you are not a clearly defined human being, it is very hard to define your image. What I've realized in my own journey in fashion is that I'm not that defined. I do feel like I am at ease in my own skin when I find an androgynous balance."
Other attendees of the Hobbit premiere were Martin Freeman, Sir Ian McKellen, Andy Serkins, Richard Armitage, Lee Pace, Aidan Turner, Ed Sheeran, Stephen Fry, James Nesbitt, Peggy Nesbitt, Luke Evans, Orlando Bloom, Benedict Cumberbatch and director, Peter Jackson. In a report by BBC, the premiere was simultaneously shown into more than 160 countries and saw dozens of fans camping out Leicester Square's Odeon cinema days before the premier itself just to have a glimpse on their favorite actors and actresses.
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is the third and final film of Sir Peter Jackson's The Hobbit trilogy
