ASOS Magazine's January 2015 issue will have multiple Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Taylor Swift for its cover girl.
The upcoming edition of the magazine which is associated with the fashion house, ASOS, UK's largest independent online fashion and beauty retailer offering over 60,000 branded and own-label products, will also be featuring an article based on an in-depth interview with the star under the caption "How to be a Supergirl by Taylor Swift."
In the interview for the fashion magazine, Swift revealed that when it comes to choosing what types of clothes to wear, she listens to what her friends tell her. Said she: "When I'm getting dressed, it's always based on what my friends will think. They are my number-one priority, and the opinions of girls are more important to me at this point in my life."
Of course, Swift also has a good head for choosing the right kind of friends. As she told ASOS, "My friends are the kind of people that have their own lives and their own busy schedules, and that's why we get along so well. A lot of 'celebrities' surround themselves with these very chic cling-ons, who don't really have much of a job or a passion; they follow around their celebrity BFF and provide constant affirmation for them, and I'm really not interested in that kind of deal."
Swift's known circle of friends include Lorde, Kelly Osbourne, Selena Gomez, Hailee Steinfeld, Ellie Goulding, Karlie Kloss, and Lena Dunham.
Aside from fashion and friends, Swift also got to talk about a lot of other things during her interview for the ASOS spread, including her work mantra, her heartbreaks, even her favorite Ina Garten recipes. She had to take a trip to London, where the fashion magazine is based, for the photo shoot sessions with Ben Sullivan.
At the cover of the upcoming issue of the magazine, the singer-songwriter can be seen wearing an ASOS BLACK Crop Top with Gem Collar, an ASOS BLACK Mini Skirt in Glitter and ASOS Double Faux Pearl Rings.
