Although Jordan appears to have maintained a successful career for the last several years, with gigs on Celebrity Apprentice and Deal Or No Deal, among others, she hit a dark time in 2012, which she spoke of during a new interview.
“I definitely had money and lost it all and got it back, lost it all again and now I’m on the upswing,” Jordan told Radar Online in the Nov. 5 interview. “I was a victim of some predatory loans, and I remember I was depressed for a while to the point I was actually suicidal.”
'The Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Cast Filming Season Seven
For the last several months, Jordan has been working on the radio and filming scenes for Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Following season six, housewife Porsha Williams was demoted, and Jordan was brought aboard to replace her as a full-time wife.
“I hit rock bottom,” Jordan continued of her financial trouble. “I lost everything, including my real estate. I was very proud of buying all my real estate on my own and [then] my show got canceled, I went through a divorce, basically I lost my work. Everything happened at the same time and I was depressed.”
Luckily, things have since improved. "I'm extremely happy right now!" Jordan assured Radar.
Joining Jordan on The Real Housewives of Atlanta is singer and actress Demetria McKinney, who will be seen on the show in a part-time role.
