PlayStation and Xbox will go head-to-head with deals on Black Friday.

With less than one month to go until the most exciting shopping event of the year, Sony and Microsoft are plotting out deals for their top gaming consoles. According to a new report, Sony is leading the race when it comes to their Black Friday sales, but Microsoft is close behind.
On Oct. 27, Value Walk reported both Sony and Microsoft will offer up to $50 off on PlayStation and Xbox, respectively. In addition, Sony may also "try to sweeten the deal by bundling more games and accessories while selling the console at the normal price."

In regard to the bundled deals from Sony, buyers can expect extra games, controllers and PlayStation Plus memberships thrown in. However, Value Walk warned buyers to do their homework when it comes to buying bundles.
"Many times they count the cost of games at $50-$60, whereas it might be possible that those games are available for a mere $30 on sale. So a good thing to do here is to just count the cost of each part and compare it with other Black Friday deals and online prices," the site recommended.
Regardless of which gaming console you chose, it appears to be safe to assume you will be getting around $50 off on either, unless you decide to go with Sony and cash in on a possible discount on accessories and games.
If you aren't one to deal with crowds, you're in luck. According to Value Walk, both of these deals will likely be available online and in stores.
