Leah Calvert's sister recently updated fans on the Teen Mom 2 star's strained marriage.

'Teen Mom 2' Star Jeremy Calvert Struggles To Sleep Ahead Of Impending Divorce

During a chat with West Virginia-based “4 S**ts and Giggles” podcast, Victoria Messer revealed her sister and her husband, Jeremy Calvert, were working on their marriage. However, despite her hopeful outlook, Victoria also confirmed her sister recently made contact with Robbie Kidd.

"They’re trying to work it out, just like any other married couple," Victoria said, according to an Oct. 20 report by Starcasm.

According to Victoria, her brother Isaac let Robbie stay with him and drive Leah's vehicle so he would be able to see his daughter, but she insisted things between Leah and Robbie weren't romantic. Although she admitted the pair had a history, which included Leah sleeping with Robbie days before her wedding to ex-husband, Corey Simms, she said things were different.

"The difference is that Corey wasn’t showing my sister affection… Mentally, physically, sexually, he wasn’t there," Victoria explained. "At the time, Robbie was there for her. But with her and Jeremy’s situation, Jeremy takes care of his family."

Victoria went on to reveal Jeremy is only home with Leah and her family on Saturday nights, and recently attempted to stay away even longer.

She then confirmed that Leah and Robbie stayed the night in the same house following her and Leah's uncle's funeral weeks ago.

Oddly, when speaking to Radar Online on Monday, Robbie failed to mention his recent ties to Leah and her family. In fact, Robbie went as far as to say he had no idea where the rumors about him and Leah came from.
