After months of speculation, it's finally official. Following a three-season hiatus, the former talk show host and Skinnygirl creator will return to the Bravo reality show. On Monday, Frankel released a statement, via Bravo, expressing her excitement about rejoining the women.
"I'm genuinely excited, with a side of slightly nervous, for my return to The Real Housewives of New York City," Frankel said in her statement, according to an Oct. 20 report by Us Weekly.

After starring on the show for three years, Frankel moved on to her own spinoff series, Bethenny Getting Married? The show aired for one season before Bravo changed the name to Bethenny Ever After. Two seasons later, Frankel said good-bye to reality TV and entered the world of hosting with her own show, Bethenny.
When she left The Real Housewives of New York City, Frankel was on the outs with co-stars Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon. Things had gotten pretty heated between them, and they still aren't on good terms. Luckily for Frankel, both stars have moved on from the series and been replaced by new cast members.
"I'm such a different person and in such a different place than when I was on first season," Frankel explained. "Slightly exciting, a little bit of anxiousness, but it feels fresh. It doesn't feel like [how] I felt going into the third season of the Housewives. There was just so much muck and I just didn't feel it was good energy."
As for whether or not fans will see her boyfriend, Michael "Mac" Cerussi, on the show, that doesn't appear to be a possibility -- at least not yet.
"That's not really what the focus of my life is right now," she said. "Ironically, I'm never a Housewife when I'm a housewife!"
