Adrienne Maloof Discusses Possible Engagement To Jacob Busch

Ahead of the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Maloof spoke of her one-year-relationship with Jacob Busch, and her messy split from former husband, Paul Nassif.

"I really don't think about the number. If you take that number out of the equation, you're still going to have the same relationship," Maloof told TooFab of the 28-year age difference between herself and boyfriend Busch. "Many women do it, Jennifer Lopez, Demi Moore, Madonna. If you got a great relationship, you got a great relationship."

Following Maloof's 2012 divorce from Paul Nassif, the 53-year-old reality star and mother of three began dating Sean Stewart, the 34-year-old son of rocker Rod Stewart. When they split in Sept. 2013, Maloof moved on to Busch.

In Feb. 2014, just months into the relationship, Maloof spoke to E! News, claiming she and her much younger boyfriend were "very close" to becoming engaged. Then, in August, a source claimed to Radar Online that Maloof was planning for a "winter wedding."

If Maloof and Busch do tie the knot, it will be the third marriage for Maloof and the first for Busch.

After Maloof split from Nassif in summer of 2012, reports of abuse surfaced online. Although the claims were never confirmed, the allegations caused quite a stir.

"Going through a divorce period is difficult at best, so when you're in front of the public eye and having to air your dirty laundry in public, it's hard on the children, it's hard on both of you, it's never easy," Maloof said of the split. "I've been asked if the show was the cause of the divorce and I'd have to say that no it wasn't ... but it probably put it over the edge."

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns later this year on Bravo.
