As she and her husband, Dean McDermott, begin filming on the second season of their Lifetime reality show, True Tori, a source has spoken out, claiming Spelling is currently expecting her fifth child.

"She’s actually wearing maternity clothes and she isn't shy about telling anyone,” an insider close to the family told In Touch Weekly on Oct. 8. And her excitement isn't just about her new baby -- it's also about the ratings boost it will bring her show. "Tori knows it will help her storyline for the show."

Tori Spelling Remains "Committed" To Her Marriage To Dean McDermott

Spelling and McDermott were married in 2006, and have four children together, Liam, 7, Stella, 6, Hattie, 3, and Finn, 2. At the end of last year, the couple was faced with a highly publicized cheating scandal involving McDermott and a woman from Canada.

After McDermott's affair hit the web, Spelling signed a deal with Lifetime to expose her marital troubles in True Tori. The first season of the show followed Spelling and McDermott as they attended therapy and tried to get their marriage back on track.

In the months since filming wrapped, Spelling has said she and McDermott are in a better place. According to the source, that may have a lot to do with Spelling's alleged pregnancy.

“When she’s pregnant, Dean’s there for her,” explained a second source. “So she uses her pregnancies as a way to control him. It’s bizarre.”

True Tori premieres on Oct. 21 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
