Bravo is rushing to start production on The Real Housewives of New Jersey season seven.
Teresa Giudice Feels Exploited By Bravo
With their star player, Teresa Giudice, due to turn herself into prison for a 15-month term on Jan. 5, Bravo has moved up production on the seventh season of the series. According to a new report, the network wants to capture as much pre-prison footage as possible.
“Bravo is set to begin filming in approximately three weeks,” a source confirmed to Radar Online on Oct. 8. “The producers want to make sure they capture all of the footage with Teresa and her family that they can before Teresa heads off to prison.”
Teresa Giudice To Return To Bravo Post-Sentencing
The sixth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has yet to come to a close, but that's not stopping Bravo from putting the wheels in motion for season seven. In fact, the source claimed all five ladies had already received their offers.
"While three months may not be a lot of time, Bravo will be sure to capture as much usable footage as they can, and can always film Joe single-parenting the girls if they need extra footage," the source continued.
Although Giudice, whose husband owes over $400,000 in restitution as part of his sentence, has yet to confirm her return, it is likely she will want to make the most of these next few months -- especially when it comes to her finances.
As for the rest of the cast, rumor has it Dina Manzo is currently unhappy with Bravo's casting decisions.
“Bravo has made it clear that they’re interested in Jacqueline Laurita as a full time housewife in addition to Dina Manzo," the source explained. "However, Dina has made it clear she does not want to work with Jacqueline.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season six airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
