Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino Talks Marriage, Future Children
During a recent court appearance, the former Jersey Shore star dropped a couple of bombs. First, he announced his engagement to Pesce. Next, he revealed they would soon be appearing on WEtv's reality series, Marriage Boot Camp.
"Mike’s lawyers appeared in court this week and asked for his tax fraud case to be postponed because he and his fiancee, Lauren Pesce, had already signed a contract to tape Marriage Boot Camp in L.A. from Oct. 5th to Oct. 19th," Reality Tea reported on Oct. 4.
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino Accused Of $8.9 Million Tax Fraud
At the end of last month, Sorrentino, along with his brother Marc, was accused of failing to pay taxes on nearly $9 million, which he reportedly made between 2010 and 2012. During his indictment, Sorrentino was charged with two counts of filing false tax returns. Marc was charged with three counts of the same charge.
According to reports, Sorrentino and Pesce have known each other for several years and been dating since last fall. In July 2014, Sorrentino opened up about a possible proposal.
“There could be an engagement in the near future,” Sorrentino told Life & Style. “I’m planning it in my head. I would like to make it very special and a day she would never forget.”
Also appearing on the upcoming season of Marriage Boot Camp are former Real Housewives of New York City stars Aviva and Reid Drescher, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, Bad Girls Club star Natalie Nunn and Jacob Payne, R&B Divas star Syleena Johnson and Kiwane Garris, and Survivor Blood vs. Water‘s Rachel Fougler and Tyson Apostol.
