Kris Jenner Files For Divorce, Requests Joint Custody Of Kylie
In a new interview with E! News' Giuliana Rancic for Beyond Candid, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians matriarch opened up about the end of her marriage to Bruce Jenner.
“I signed up at the time for happily ever after and it didn’t work out that way,” Kris confessed to Rancic, according to an Oct. 6 report by Hollywood Life. “It makes me really sad.”

After announcing their separation in Oct. 2013, Kris and Bruce began living separately. Kris remained in Calabassas, Calif. with her and Bruce's two daughters, Kendall and Kylie, while Bruce relocated to a beach house in Malibu, Calif. Then, in September, Kris officially filed for divorce.
“I feel like I failed at something because I wanted it to be that relationship for the rest of my life,” she continued. “When I realized that it wasn’t then you want the next best thing and that’s an amazing friendship.”
Following the announcement of their divorce, Kris and Bruce's daughters spoke out on social media, Kendall with a throwback photo from her parents' wedding, and Kylie with a quote about "emptiness."
When asked whether or not she was excited to begin dating again, Kris explained, "I want to definitely be in love, I like being in love … there is no better feeling in the world."
Keeping Up With The Kardashians returns for a 10th season in 2015.
