Dean McDermott may be putting his sobriety on the back burner.
Tori Spelling Remains "Committed" To Dean McDermott
According to a new report, McDermott, who attended a 30-day treatment program in February, has been skipping his Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
“He’s at a crossroads with his family and his sobriety,” a source told In Touch Weekly of McDermott on Sept. 25. “He’s been telling friends he’s ‘bored and unhappy with his life. He’s miserable and he’s not hiding it.”
Tori Spelling And Dean McDermott's Marriage Is "Getting Better"
After news of his affair with Emily Goodhand went public in Dec. 2013, McDermott entered a treatment facility in Los Angeles. Around this time, he and wife, Tori Spelling, began filming a new reality show, True Tori, which followed the pair as they attempted to salvage their marriage.
Althought True Tori was supposed to conclude with Spelling making a decision regarding whether or not she would continue with her marriage or file for divorce, not much was settled during the show's finale. Instead, the couple continued to struggle with McDermott's infidelity and signed on for a second season of the show.
However, for season two, the couple took a serious pay cut.
“Lifetime was interested in doing another season of the show,” an insider told Radar Online on Sept. 25. “However, Tori had to be willing to take a pay cut, a big one, and she did. The pay cut was significant. Tori is making only $50,000 to do Season Two. And Dean isn’t making a dime. Tori made sure his contract specified that.”
True Tori season two premieres Oct. 21 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
