Kim Kardashian and Kanye West want you to know they do not discipline baby North very harshly.

The famous reality couple does plan on punishing North when she does wrong, but by focusing on rewarding positive behavior rather than disciplining bad behavior.

"Kim and Kanye decided before North was born there would be no spanking, ever," a source told Radar Online on Sept. 22. "It's not how they want to raise their daughter. As North gets older, and when she acts up, there will be time outs, taking away a favorite toy, but absolutely no physical discipline."

The source revealed Kim was taking after her sister Kourtney, whose kids grew up "well behaved" without administering any spankings.

"Kim's older sister Kourtney doesn't spank her kids, and they are very well behaved. North will be given clear boundaries that a child needs, and there will be consequences that won't involve any hitting or spanking. It's all about rewarding the positive behavior, and dealing with the naughty tantrums with patience and love."

According to the report, West will not be the one enforcing these rules. The source says North is a typical "daddy's girl," and he would never be able to hand down punishment to her. That will have to be Kardashian's job.

"She has her daddy wrapped around her little finger," the source said. "It's very clear that Kim will have to be the disciplinarian when North gets older... [North] is such a daddy's girl."

This news update comes just as Kim's ex-boyfriend, footballer Reggie Bush, admitted he would absolutely spank his one-year-old daughter, Briseis.

"Obviously, every person is different, and I definitely will use my best judgment to discipline her depending on the situation and what happens," he said, according to Radar Online.
