Since her assault, Mack has been cyber-bullied by War Machine fans who call into question the injuries from the attack. To prove her case, Mack posted a time-lapse set of photos and a written statement documenting her long road to recovery.
"It's hard to look in the mirror every day and see someone you do not know," she said, according to MMA Mania, which published the statement on Sept. 14.

Mack said she has undergone extensive care on her eyes, mouth and nose.
"I've had several dentist visits to make eating more comfortable and make my smile look more normal... I've had my eyes checked and made aware that I'm very lucky to have my vision where it is, since the muscle is tethered by the fragments from the blowout fracture in my left eye... My multiple nose fractures will be fixed in the next couple months," she said, listing off the laundry list of doctor visits and ailments she's recovering from.
Mack also has to take care of her liver, which was ruptured during the attack.
"After having [my] make up done and dressing up for yesterday's charity event, I feel much better about how I look now. It made me feel more normal and beautiful for the first time in a very long time," she said in reference to the Face Forward event she attended.
Face Forward is a non-profit organization that funds reconstructive surgeries for women and children who faced brutal attacks, such as Mack's. The organization didn't cover her surgery, but she "met many wonderful people and look forward to working more with them in the future."
War Machine, who is currently being held at a Las Vegas prison, will appear in court on Oct. 17. He recently pled not guilty for 32 counts, including two counts of attempted murder.
