Are you beautiful? Are you a male? Can you point at ordinary household items and make them see overtly fascinating?
Well then you may be just what The Price is Right is looking for.
PEOPLE Magazine reported on Aug. 25 that the long-running game show is partaking in a nationwide search for the perfect male model to... well, look good and point.
The contest kicked off in South Carolina earlier this month. If you live in Boston (Sept. 6), Dallas (Sept. 7), Philadelphia (Sept. 8) or Los Angeles (Sept. 30), then you have the chance to audition, as well. If you live outside these areas you have the chance to submit a video online.
Semifinalists will be awarded with a trip to Los Angeles for a chance at the final spot. Contestants will be judged on personality, red carpet skill and their ability to model and point at shiny new things.
LA Times reported on Aug. 25 that the final three finalists will be presented on CBS' The Talk, allowing fans of the show to vote for their favorite.
And what does the winner win?
A week long contract with Drew Carey and The Price is Right crew. The final model will be revealed in December. If things work out for him, this could lead to a more permanent spot on the show.
The contest is taking place after the success of the show's first ever male model, reported PEOPLE. His name is Rob Wilson, and he first appeared on the show in 2012. Since he left in April, it seems like fans miss the male companion.
If YOU think you got a bit of Derek Zoolander in you, give this contest a shot! You can submit an application via The Price is Right's website.
